Only way to control huge proportion of corruption in Pakistan is through privatization of state owned enterprises. Recent corruption scandals in PSO, PIA losses, steel mills losses, railway losses are the testimony to this fact. We can either sell Pakistan as a whole by taking more debt, or even can privatize these government enterprises and start paying of debt and spending money saved on health, education and infrastructure.
Just Imagine, 1 trillion rupees annually that are lost on these state owned enterprises are spent on education, health and infrastructure including dams. This would transform Pakistan in next few years. Once privatized, these enterprises would bring much needed tax revenue and create much needed jobs as well.
